Both the morning and afternoon sessions begin with a registration time, when the children can share their news. The snack cafe opens and the children can choose from a range of healthy and nutritious snacks.

Because we realise that some children
are 'outdoor learners' children are given opportunities for 'free flow' play meaning that they can often choose whether to be inside or out.

We plan activities based on our observed interests of the children. By taking our lead from them we can ensure that we cater for their individual needs and learning styles.
Activities your child can access include:

• Role play - (e.g. house/shop/hospital)
• Music and movement
• Number games and puzzles
• Mark making
• Sharing stories and exploring books.
• ICT (computer and tape recorder)
• Sand & water play
• Painting, drawing & model making
• Small world play (e.g. playmobil/animals)
• Construction (e.g. duplo/large block play)
• Circle times (e.g. group games & discussion)
• Malleable & Messy play (e.g. playdough/gloop)

Lunches

We have a Healthy Eating policy which we ask that parents read and adhere to.
Children bring a packed lunch which is stored in our fridge. We also ask that you avoid sending products containing nuts. Please ensure that your child's lunch is clearly named.
