June 2008

It's hard to believe that it we are already in the last term of this year and will soon be saying goodbye to all our pre-school children who are off to school in September. We will all have to make the most of the time we have left with them!

June Fees
Please ensure that all fees for this month are paid promptly this week. If you still have May's fees to pay there will be a reminder in your child's pigeon hole. Please pay immediately to avoid interest charges being added!

Policies
There are still some of you who have not signed to say that you have read the nursery policies. I will be chasing you for your signature!

For Sale/ Wanted
Please feel free to make use of the space on the notice board if you have items to sell or you are looking for something particular.

Goodbye
Sadly we will be saying goodbye to Sarah at the end of this term. She is relocating back to her home town of Derby. I inherited Sarah when Appletree opened in 2005 and she has been a valued member of the team who will be greatly missed by all of us. We wish Sarah and Callum the very best with their move.


Sunny Weather Protection
With (hopefully) more sunshine on the way, please can we remind you to apply sun cream before your child comes to nursery and then leave a named bottle with us so we can re-apply as necessary. Your child will also need a named sun hat. Without this protection we will not be able to let children play outside.

Active Kids Vouchers
Please keep them coming! We were able to get some great equipment last year which the children have thoroughly enjoyed, so it would be fantastic to get some more.
