About Us
Welcome to Appletree Nursery, we have been open since July 2005 as an independent nursery caring for children from 3 months to 8 years.
Since 2007 Appletree has been operating from Calne Children's Centre. The nursery is purpose built and offers wonderfully spacious rooms with lots of natural light and direct access to the large outdoor area.
About the Owner
Rachel Knights is a primary school teacher with many years experience and a mother of three children, the youngest of whom attends the nursery. Rachel also holds Early Years Professional Status and is an Early Years Advisory Teacher for Wiltshire Council.
Our Aim
At Appletree Nursery our aim is to offer your child the best possible care outside the home. We aim to engage children in exciting, fun learning experiences within a safe and friendly environment, enabling them to develop socially, emotionally and educationally to their full potential. As a team we continually reflect on our practice and look for ways to improve and develop the nursery. Staff are given lots of opportunities for professional development to extend their knowledge and understanding of early learning and development.
The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from 8:00 till 6pm. Various session times are available. Breakfast and After School clubs run daily.
